How to process feelings and emotions has been something that I have been working on my whole life. This week’s workbook content has given me more tools that have been very helpful. The live map session facilitated many profound shifts and healing of old wounds. I am looking forward to the changes as life unfold differently. Very exciting to experience such fast results.

Hi all! ❤️ It seems that now, in the 4th week of the material, that I'm realizing how sophisticated and deep this material is. I can see where my resistance lays as I go through the exercises. I'm finding that I'm remembering the course material and the tools and implementing them as I go about my days . I had a dentist appointment last week that I was apprehensive about. I used the breathing technique, the 123, and naming the emotion techniques, and it helped! The rewiring session on Thursday evening was astounding. It was as though it was written specifically for me. (Another participant seemed to have the same experience, amazing!)
I became aware of how much I bounce around like a pinball, bumping into triggers and attempting to stuff my reactions down in an attempt to cut myself off from the vulnerability of feeling and displaying them. A childhood memory surfaced about how my emotions impacted my mother. That my emotions were too much, wrong, selfish, inconvenient, painful, embarrassing for her. I was 2.5 / 3 years old, and we had all experienced a family tragedy. Once a light had been shone on this memory with my awareness, something shifted. I felt myself let go of guilt, shame, anger, resentment.
There's been a shift this week for me, from feeling resistance to making time for the course material to scheduling time for it. I'm seeing real, positive, transformative changes, and I'm craving more. I'm realizing this will be a journey back and forth through the course material as more surfaces for me, and as I dig deeper into what my family and I repressed and suppressed throughout our lives. It has been 2 days since the rewiring session, and I'm feeling a deeper compassion for both myself and my family.
